Birdy bread
2 boxes of Jiffy corn muffin mix
3 eggs w/shells (seperate eggs from shells, wash & grind)
2/3 cup of milk (I use skim)
1/2 cup peanut butter
2 Gerber's jr size jar of fruit or veggies
1/2 cup of pellets crushed
1 cup of frozen or fresh fruit or veggies
1/2 cup of what ever you have left over in your fridge
(spaghetti, chicken, veggies or whatever you have available as left overs)
scrape cuttle bone & mineral block into the mix ( if you have available )
you could also add nuts crushed
Mix all ingredients together. Bake in muffin tins or cake pans at 450 for 20-25 min or until done.
Check with toothpick (just like you would with a cake)
Can also be frozen -- just take out what you will use in 1 week, keep in fridge.
I usually either make fruit or veggie, sometimes I will add veggie (baby food) to the fruit bread
